A Simple UGC Video Ad Script Framework
UGCClip Team · June 24, 2026 · 1 min read

Great UGC doesn't feel scripted, but the best-performing ads follow a structure. Here's a framework you can reuse for almost any product.
The five beats
1. Hook (0–3s)
Lead with the problem or the result. See hooks that stop the scroll.
2. Problem (3–8s)
Name the pain in the customer's own words. Specific beats generic.
3. Product as the turn (8–15s)
Introduce the product as the thing that changed it. Show, don't just tell.
4. Proof (15–22s)
A result, a before/after, or a concrete detail. Only claim what's true.
5. CTA (22–25s)
One clear action. "Tap to try it."
Keep it natural
Don't force a word-for-word read. Treat the script as talking points so the delivery stays authentic. UGCClip's UGC video generator writes the beats and renders the brand layer, so the CTA and logo are always right.
One script, many variations
Swap the hook and the proof to create a test matrix. This is how brands like those in ecommerce ship dozens of variations from a single concept.
